Services & Rates

Everything we can carry, wrap, paint, or fix.

Moving labor is the core of what we do and where all 283 of our reviews come from. The rest is the work that comes after the truck pulls away.

Moving services

Moving help, by the hour

Rates are set by the size of the place, not by a headcount. We bring the muscle, the blankets, the straps, and the dollies. You bring the truck or container.

Loading & Unloading

The service most people book us for. You rent the truck, PODS, or U-Box container and we do the heavy part on one or both ends.

  • Rental trucks, PODS, U-Box, and trailers
  • Tight stacking so it all fits in one load
  • Furniture blanketed and shrink-wrapped
  • Stairs and elevators, just tell us in advance

Packing & Unpacking

Short on time before the truck arrives? We pack the house room by room, or unpack it on the other side so you are not living out of boxes for a month.

  • Packed room by room and labeled
  • Dishes, glass, and fragile items padded
  • Boxes set down in the right rooms, not the garage
  • Boxes and packing material can be arranged, just ask

Piano & Gun Safe Moving

Heavy, expensive, and unforgiving if handled wrong. We have moved baby grands, uprights, and safes, and we price them as their own line item so there is no argument on the day.

  • Baby grand, upright, and console pianos
  • Gun safes and other oversized single items
  • Blanket-wrapped, strapped, and walked out on boards
  • Flat $200 per piano, on top of hourly labor

Appliances & Heavy Furniture

Washers, dryers, refrigerators, sectionals, treadmills, and the dresser nobody wants to take down the stairs. Straps and dollies, two people minimum.

  • Washers, dryers, and refrigerators
  • Sectionals, armoires, and gym equipment
  • In-home rearranging, no truck needed
  • Floors protected, doorframes watched
After the move

Painting, repairs, and the yard

The same crew, for the list you write once the boxes are gone. Quoted per job rather than by the hour.

Interior & Exterior Painting

Fresh walls before you move in, or the touch-up work a landlord wants before you hand back the keys. Prep, tape, and clean lines.

Handyman Repairs & Assembly

Furniture assembly, mounting, patching, and the small fixes that pile up. If it is bigger than a handyman job, we will tell you straight.

Lawn & Bush Cutting

Overgrown hedges, tall grass, and general cleanup. Useful when a property has been sitting empty between tenants.

Questions

Before you book

How is the price worked out?
By the size of the place. A studio or one-bedroom is the lowest rate, a two to three-bedroom home is the next one up, and anything bigger we quote once you tell us what is in it. Tell us what you have on the phone and we will give you the honest answer, even when it is the cheaper one.
Is there a minimum booking?
Two hours. After that it is billed by the hour at the crew rate you booked.
Do you bring a truck?
On Moving Help® loading and unloading jobs, no. That service is labor only, and you supply the truck or container. If you need a full local move handled end to end, call us directly and we will talk through the options.
Can you move a piano or a gun safe?
Yes, both. Pianos are a flat $200 each on top of the hourly labor. Tell us the type and whether there are stairs when you book, so the right crew shows up.
¿Hablan español?
Sí. The crew works in English and Spanish, and you can call, text, or book entirely in Spanish. Ver esta página en español.
How do I pay?
We take cash, Zelle, Venmo, and Apple Pay for jobs booked directly. If you book through Moving Help® or U-Haul, payment runs through their system with a code you release when the job is finished.
What if my move runs long or the date changes?
Dates move. Call as early as you can and we will do our best to shift you. If the job runs past the hours you booked, we keep working and you are billed for the extra time at the same rate. No surprise multipliers.

Tell us what you are moving.

One call and you will know the timing and the price.
